There is a lot of coverage in the media at the moment about GP surgeries not providing appointments to patients and hiding behind closed doors. Whilst we have modified the way we have worked throughout the pandemic, we have remained open throughout for face to face and telephone appointments. Our doors have also remained open for patients to pick up their prescriptions from our dispensary.
During March 2021, we had, in total, nearly 6,500 face to face and telephone appointments with patients. This was an average of about 280 per day. We also completed over 2,000 COVID vaccinations during the month and dispensed and prepared over 5,000 items of medication for collection.
