Travel Advice and Vaccinations.

The nursing team offers the full range of vaccinations that are required for overseas travel and are always happy to advise on requirements for your trip.  The nurses will also advise on malaria preventions and other health issues which may be relevant to your journey.

Please download and this Travel Risk Assessment Form and bring it with you (completed) to your appointment with the nurse. (copies also available at reception)

Some vaccinations will require boosters before you travel so please always consult the nurse at the earliest opportunity after you have planned your journey.  Please note that you may not be able to have all vaccinations on the first appointment so it is essential to plan ahead.

If you are planning a trip to Africa, Asia or Central America then we suggest that you make an appointment at least 6 weeks ahead of your departure date.

If you are planning a trip that involves multiple destinations or Gap Year travelling then please book an initial travel consultation with one of our nurses as soon as possible.

Please note that many travel vaccinations are not NHS services and therefore attract a fee.  Details are available at reception or from the nurses.
